"Where is the app for 10 stars?! - I have been Dr. Wormer's patient since 2020. I am a TNBC survivor. He did my initial surgery and my female family members were speechless after they saw my breast reconstruction surgery. My results were far beyond amazing. It didn't appear that I had a double breast mastectomy 4 months before reconstruction with Dr. Wormer. There are thin scars on each side of my breasts which appear to look like natural veins and my breasts look so natural, i.e. he was able to preserve my nipples. Dr. Wormer is one of the best in his industry. After 3 years I am prepping for my next breast surgery with him and I can assure you, it will be another amazing result! The staff, everyone there are simply fantastic. I hear Dr. Appel is just as amazing as Dr. Wormer. I will be back to give an update after my surgery in mid-July. So, grateful to God for giving me, Dr. Wormer."

"If I could give more than 5 stars i absolutely would! I have had nothing but amazing experiences each and every time. Both dr Appel and his office ladies are so kind and helpful. I’ve had 2 surgeries so far with Dr Appel and the last one was at his new office surgery suites and I must say it was wonderful, of course no one loves surgery but his office was so peaceful and clean and just calming everyone was so patient and kind and no one rushed and the nurse in the operating room was so sweet and kind as well as the ladies who were in the recovery room with me. This was the most amazing experience and nothing at all like having a surgery in a hospital. Also no matter what time both Dr Appel and his staff are always there to help or answer any questions or concerns and Dr Appel even made time to call and check on me that night after surgery a few times just to make sure I was okay. He also takes his time with his patients and really listens to them, I struggle with horrible body dysmorphia and he always makes me feel heard and does everything in his power to help his patients and he is honest as well. His work is amazing and I’ve never felt more confident in my own skin. "Dr Wormer has been great for me an my Explant. He is very kind, knowledgeable and remembers who you are. Suffering from now what we believe is BII (Breast Implant Illness) he was able to Explant and improve everyone of my symptoms that I suffered for over the life of my Implants of 9 years….high blood pressure, major weight gain, aches and pains, numbness, constipation, eye vision was going bad fast and just over all Not myself! The heal is real and will take sometime after the Explant but Dr Wormer will be there the whole way. Thank you Dr Wormer and staff for believing in me and giving me back my health."

"I had reconstructive surgery due to breast cancer about 14 years ago. During an intense exercise session, the implants ruptured. It turned out to be a bit of an ordeal. I found out I could possibly have a rare form of cancer that is associated with ruptured implants. Then there was tons of additional testing and biopsies. Dr Wormer was so compassionate, informative, and professional throughout this process. He explained both potential and probable outcomes. He looks you in the eye, searches your face, and really tries to ensure you understand what he is explaining to you. He SHOWS you MRI results and explains what he see; he does not just dictate what he you should do based on what he alone saw. He allows you to ask question after question, and he strives to allay your concerns and fears. Even the nurses whispered to me before my surgery, "You got a good one; he's a good doctor." What a pleasant thought before going into surgery."
"Just want to give a huge shout out to Dr Wormer. My mom has complications from breast implants resulting from a mastectomy and Dr Wormer worked her in for emergency surgery today not ever having met her. My mom has had two sets of implants over the past 18 years and is now having complications and needs emergency surgery to remove one of the implants. The doctor that did both of her implants in the past would not come in to do the emergency surgery.Two doctors advocating for my mom called her previous doctor to tell him the gravity of the situation but because there was no money in this surgery, he refused to do it. Dr Wormer was no doubt sent by God to intervene on my mom’s behalf and I will be forever grateful. He actually cares about people and it’s not just about the money. He had no obligation to do this for my mom and actually had to cancel other patients to work her in. I can’t think of too many people that would do that for a stranger. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, please go to Dr Wormer. He is an amazing man and his staff are most definitely angels! It’s important to know you have a doctor that going to be there for you in the future if you need him. I have no doubt that Dr Wormer will always be there for his clients! He’s just simply awesome!"

"I went to Dr. Wormer’s office for a breast reduction. I was 30 years old and had had large breasts my entire life. I was reluctant to get surgery for many reasons, but mostly because I was afraid of surgery. For anyone out there that is in that situation now and reading this- Go through with breast reduction surgery!!! Dr. Wormer is the best, and everyone at the hospital told me so. He is knowledgeable, confident in his skills, kind, and professional. Surgery and recovery both went better than expected. I would choose Dr. Wormer because of his precision to accuracy, and the wonderful nurse and surgical team at Novant. I would consider my new breasts accurate in every sense of the word! "Sometimes in life you meet a 'real live hero', I have met such a person, his name is Dr. Blair Wormer. I know this sounds a bit like hyperbole, let me explain. My journey started some 6 years ago when I had a bilateral mastectomy, something no woman ever thinks will be in her future. My general surgery was uneventful. Regrettably, the reconstruction was cosmetically and aesthetically subpar. Unfortunately, over time I considered the outcome my lot and resigned to live with the results. Time and health issues again raised their heads and with this I actively sought out a new surgeon. From the first consultation I was asked "what do you want and how can I help". Dr Wormer not only listened but heard me. The interaction was active, receptive and sensitively handled. I am now past the surgery and I have a chest wall with two albeit small new girls sitting atop. They no longer reside under my armpits! and for the first time I can actually wear a bra--and maybe a bathing suit soon--it's the small things really. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Dr. Wormer is on so many levels an amazing surgeon and he will always have my heartfelt gratitude."

"I love dr.appel. I had a breast reduction by him and I'm only 23, so of course I was nervous about all the stories I heard about surgeries and the pain. Dr.appel, his staff, even the anesthesiologist was amazing and made me feel comfortable. After my surgery I had NOOO pain throughout my entire recovery. I was shocked cause I know people who had a breast reduction and had alot of pain, but I was up and walking around a few hours after my surgery! I love my new breast and I'm going back for lipo. I'm also trying to get my mom to get lipo from him. He's amazing and I suggest him over anyone in North Carolina.🤗😍🤗😍"
